Houses at Trinity
At Trinity Academy, every student and member of staff belongs to one of four Houses, led by a teacher as the Head of House. Our Houses are:
- Beacon - Miss Evans
- Hippodrome - Mr Sukatorn
- Old Vic - Miss O'Dwyer
- St George's - Ms Moore
Each House has its own identity, colour and student leadership, which consists of a:
- Sixth Form House Ambassador
- House Champion (Year 11)
- Deputy House Champion (Year 10)
- a team of House Representatives focusing on aspects of school life such as culture, events, classroom inclusivity, wellbeing, anti-bullying, teaching and learning.
Across the school year, students earn House points for Head, Heart and Soul inside and outside of lessons, competing to win the coveted annual House Championship.
Students also participate, compete and celebrate in our calendar of cultural, sporting and arts events, including the House Performing Arts Competition, Sports Day, Culture Day and House Championship Outdoors Activities Day, as well as a number of smaller events such as open mics, bake sales, art showcases, quizzes, sports competitions and assemblies.
Students come together in House groups every Friday morning with peers from across all year groups, engaging with our Belonging Curriculum to celebrate themes of community, resilience, inclusivity and purpose.
