Cathedral Schools Trust (CST) is now consulting on the proposed admission arrangements for the academic year 2020/21. The consultation process will run for a six week period from 12th November 2018 to 7th January 2019.
The change to the admission arrangements for 2020/21 is the proposal to amend the wording for the sibling criterion. The wording of the policy is also amended to clarify Trinity Academy will be part of the coordinated admissions scheme with Bristol City Council and all applications are made on the common application form via the home local authority and ensure it is compliant with applicable legislation. Full details of the changes can be viewed by reading the draft admission arrangements.
Trinity Academy Draft Admission Arrangements 2020/21 can be viewed here.
The consultation for all schools within Cathedral Schools Trust is open until 7th January 2019. If you would like to comment on the proposed admission arrangements or have any queries please put them in writing, stating clearly which school your response is regarding, and send to:

This page contains a brief summary of the application procedure for Year 7 entry in September 2019.
The admission arrangements for Year 7 2019/20 entry can be viewed here.
A map showing the inner and outer catchment areas can be viewed here.
The deadline for applications closed on 31st October 2018.
Trinity Academy will process its own applications outside the normal local authority process for co-ordinating school offers. This means you will need to complete your LA common application form for your other choices of school in addition to a separate application for Trinity Academy.
Offers will be made on 1 March 2019. If we have not entered into a funding agreement with the Secretary of State opening the school by that date, they will be conditional offers and will be confirmed once we have a signed funding agreement.
All applications received by the CST Trinity Academy after the deadline will be considered to be late applications. Late applications will be considered after those received on time. If, following consideration of all applicants the school is oversubscribed, parents may request that their child is placed on the school’s waiting list.
If you wish to make a late application please complete the on-line form here.
CST Trinity Academy offers 10% of the places available to applicants who show an aptitude in music. If you would like your child to be considered under this criterion and you would like to complete the online music application form by the closing date of Monday 24th September 2018, please click HERE for further information.
CST Trinity Academy has a published admission number of 120 students for Year 7 entry. If the number of applications exceeds 120, students with statements of Special Educational Needs or an EHCP in which Trinity Academy is named, will be admitted before others.
Where there are more applications than places available, places will be allocated in line with the over subscription criteria, in order, as set out in the published admission arrangements.
We strongly advise parents/carers to read the relevant admission arrangements before making an application to the school.
We also advise parents/carers to come and visit us during one of our open events, details of which can be found on the 'Open events' page.
