Welcome to CST Trinity Academy admissions pages

This page contains a brief summary of the application procedure for Year 7 entry in September 2019.

The draft admission arrangements for Year 7 2019/20 entry can be viewed hereThese are in draft format and are subject to final approval from the Department for Education.

A map showing the inner and outer catchment areas can be viewed here.

Application process

Trinity Academy will process its own applications outside the normal local authority process for co-ordinating school offers. This means you will need to complete your LA common application form for your other choices of school in addition to a separate application for Trinity Academy.

The easiest way to apply is by using the online application form available here

Alternatively a copy of the form is available to download in pdf format here and can be sent to CST TRINITY ACADEMY ADMISSIONS  at the following address C/O CATHEDRAL SCHOOLS TRUST, COLLEGE SQUARE, BRISTOL, BS1 5TS.

The closing date for applications is 3pm on 31st October 2018.

Offers will be made on 1 March 2019. If we have not entered into a funding agreement with the Secretary of State opening the school by that date, they will be conditional offers and will be confirmed once we have a signed funding agreement.

Year 7 2019 entry

CST Trinity Academy offers 10% of the places available to applicants who show an aptitude in music. If you would like your child to be considered under this criterion and you would like to complete the online music application form by the closing date of Monday 24th September 2018, please click HERE for further information.

CST Trinity Academy has a published admission number of 120 students for Year 7 entry. If the number of applications exceeds 120, students with statements of Special Educational Needs or an EHCP in which Trinity Academy is named, will be admitted before others.

Where there are more applications than places available, places will be allocated in line with the over subscription criteria, in order, as set out in the published admission arrangements.

We strongly advise parents/carers to read the relevant admission arrangements before making an application to the school.

We also advise parents/carers to come and visit us during one of our open events, details of which can be found on the 'Open events' page.
