Determined Admission arrangements 2020/21  

Following the public consultation from 12th November 2018 until 7th January 2019 to a proposed change to the admission arrangements for 2020/21;

  • To amend the wording for the sibling criterion,
  • To amend the wording to clarify Trinity Academy will be part of the coordinated admissions scheme with Bristol City Council and all applications are made on the common application form via the home local authority and to ensure it is compliant with applicable legislation.

1 response was received. CST has determined the admission arrangements as per the consultation version with the following amendment;

To make it clearer for parents, an amendment to clarify over-subscription criteria point 5a, ‘25% of the remaining places will first be randomly allocated to children living within the inner priority area’, rather than the previous wording ‘up to 25%’.

Cathedral Schools Trust is the admission authority for Trinity Academy who have determined (agreed) the admission arrangements as per the consultation version for children who will be admitted to the school at the normal point of entry for September 2020.
